On 30th April 2019, the inception workshop on our new project, “Resilient Mountain Solutions” (RMS) was conducted in Taunggyi. The purpose of the project is to enhance the resilience of people in mountainous and hilly regions to socioeconomic and environmental changes, including climate change and loss of biodiversity; and to create new knowledge and simple solutions.

This project is supported by the governments of Sweden and Norway through ICIMOD, implemented in collaboration with Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation (MONERC)
