As a culmination of project “Securing Positive Nutritional Outcome through Agriculture Extension, Nutritional Education and Institution Building in Rural Chin State” funded by LIFT, MIID has developed a chapter to the curriculum of the State Agricultural Institutes in Myanmar on agriculture practices in upland areas. The chapter focuses on the specific techniques that are required to increase income, resilience and nutrition in rural upland communities in Myanmar.
The Uplands Chapter is one of several publications prepared under the project to support improving of agriculture practices in the uplands of Myanmar. More publications and IEC materials can be found at the Myanmar Uplands Agriculture website here
