MIID is now publishing a collection of 16 photo essays to synthesize key research findings from the “Pathways to Economic and Political Empowerment for Ethnic Minority Women in South and East Shan State” project.
The case studies illustrate key themes regarding women’s empowerment and provide valuable insights into the daily lives of women and men in seven ethnic communities in Shan state. The research has been co-created with local CSO leaders and is funded by the International Development Research Center (IDRC).
