This photo essay has been developed as part of the “Pathways to Economic and Political Empowerment for Ethnic Minority Women in South and East Shan State” project, funded by International Development Research Center (IDRC). The photo essay contains 16 case studies with valuable research related to women’s empowerment in ethnic regions of South and Eastern Shan.
